Before we left for South America our planning was mainly focussed on what we were going to take and how we were going to get there with the bikes. We had looked at some other cyclists’ blogs but they were mostly narrative recounts of people’s trip and they didn’t always provide specific details. When you are sat at home reading these they are entertaining and make you feel excited, but on the road you want the fine details such as where to sleep or buy supplies, what the road is like and what you will find on the way.

In our resource pages we will provide specific information about a particular section of the ride and share the tips and insights that we feel would have been useful before starting out. Hopefully someone else will find these useful too!

We are not experts but we want to share up to date information for anyone thinking about similar trip. We started cycling north from Ushuaia in October 2017 and each resource page is dated when we were there and has a link to the relevant blog post/s.

If you think there’s something we’ve missed out or you have updated information please feel free to leave us a comment or drop us a message, we’d love to hear from you.
